The match was supposed to last 90 minutes.

But we came onto the field well prepared – and after just 5 minutes, everything was decided: our appeal was upheld, and our client was granted a residence permit. 🏆

Fortunately, court proceedings do not follow the same rules as football: there is no need to play the full 90 minutes when the outcome is already clear. ⚽😉

We are delighted with this surprisingly fast result and wish everyone an exciting remainder of the FIFA World Cup 2026! 🎉

Having once practised as a lawyer himself, the Chancellor shared how much of that experience continues to shape his work today — from listening carefully and negotiating effectively to balancing different interests and building workable compromises.

Good news in the inbox: Two court decisions within two hours — and both appeals were successful.

Moments like these mean a lot to me because behind every case file, there is a person who has often been waiting a long time for a fair decision.

Especially in immigration and asylum proceedings, it takes patience, perseverance, and sometimes the courage to challenge a negative decision. Because not every first decision is the right or final one.

It is worth standing up for your rights. ⚖️

To everyone currently waiting for a decision themselves, I wish you strength and hope. 🌱

The residence permit can be picked up on 23 January 2026 – exactly one month after applying!
