✨We are excited to present our first contributor on the Peaceful Purposes of Outer Space topic, Mr. Antonino Salmeri! Antonino is an Italian space lawyer specialised in lunar governance and space resource activities. Since 2019, Antonino works as doctoral researcher in space law at the University of Luxembourg, where he is pursuing a PhD on the multi-level governance of space mining. Antonino holds three advanced degrees in law and is a registered attorney at the Italian BAR.

🚀Antonino Salmeri holds numerous positions within the space law community, he is a Policy and Advocacy Coordinator of Space Generation Advisory Council, where he also leads the EAGLE Team on Lunar Governance, he is a Co-Chair of the Project XI, a joint venture between the EAGLE Team and the Global Space Law Center on Information Sharing for Activities on Celestial Bodies and a he acts as a Chair of the International Agreements Committee for the Space Law Library project of the Space Court Foundation.

✨Mr. Salmeri is a member of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL), of the Space Habitats Committee of the International Astronautical Federation and of the Global Expert Group on Sustainable Lunar Activities (GEGSLA), where he co-chairs the specialised group on Lunar Information Sharing. And last but not least, Antonino serves as Global Outreach Manager for our Knowledge Constellation project.
