The Investment Gateway Summit 2026 began yesterday in St Kitts and Nevis and will run until June 20th, 2026.
On the first day of the summit, His Excellency Calvin St. Juste, Executive Chairman of the Board of Governors, delivered a speech.
Calvin St. Juste reminded citizens of St Kitts and Nevis that they need to replace their old passports with biometric ones by July 31st, 2027. After this date, the passports will no longer be valid for travel.

Calvin St. Juste also spoke about changes at the CIU. He mentioned:
🔹 the expanded role of the department, whose powers will include more than processing citizenship applications;
🔹 changes to the supervisory role of the Board of Governors;
🔹 the launch of new services for investors, such as a concierge service.
