Immigration Law Clerk (Part-Time | Remote | U.S. Applicants Only)

Are you a law student or someone with at least 2 years of law school completed and interested in gaining hands-on experience in U.S. immigration law?

Raju Law is looking for a motivated and organized Immigration Law Clerk to support our team primarily on EB2-NIW (Employment-Based Second Preference – National Interest Waiver) petitions.
This is a great opportunity to work directly with attorneys and gain practical experience in employment-based immigration law while enjoying a flexible remote work environment.

📍 Please note: This position is open to applicants currently based in the United States only.

📌 What You’ll Do

• Assist attorneys and paralegals in preparing and filing EB2-NIW petitions
• Conduct legal research and draft petitions, recommendation letters, and supporting documents
• Review client documents for accuracy and completeness
• Organize and maintain case files and records
• Communicate with clients, government agencies, and team members when needed
• Stay updated on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
• Provide administrative and general support to the legal team

📌 Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years of law school
• Prior immigration law experience is NOT required; training will be provided to the right candidate
• Comfortable working remotely and using virtual communication tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Reliable and deadline-oriented
• Must currently be based in the United States

📌 Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $20/hour
• Fully remote office
• Flexible schedule and working hours
• Full training provided

The DS-160 is more than an online form. The information you provide becomes part of your U.S. visa application and may be reviewed alongside your supporting documents and interview answers.

Dubai-based applicants should pay particular attention to information such as employment history, residential addresses, travel history, education, and job titles.

A translated job title should accurately reflect your actual position rather than simply using a title that sounds more familiar in another country. Your employment information should also remain consistent with your CV, and interview responses.

Address information can also require careful attention when entering UAE residential details into a U.S. government form.

Most importantly, do not guess when completing questions about your background. If you discover an error after submitting the DS-160, understand your options before moving forward with the visa interview.

Receiving a Request for Evidence (RFE) from USCIS does not automatically mean your immigration case will be denied.

An RFE means USCIS is requesting additional information or evidence before making a decision on the petition or application. For applicants and beneficiaries living in Dubai, responding may involve gathering documents from multiple countries and ensuring that international records are properly presented.

Employment records, educational documents, professional credentials, financial evidence, translations, letters, and other supporting materials may be relevant depending on the immigration category and the specific issues raised by USCIS.

The most important step is to address what USCIS actually requested. Sending large amounts of unrelated documentation may not solve the concern identified in the RFE.

A strong response should directly address each issue, and follow the submission requirements and deadline stated by USCIS.
