PROPERTY INVESTMENT 101.

Let's begin with bringing in some clarity. First, let's find our why. Is it purely for investment? Is it for our end use? Would it be an apartment or a townhouse/ villa? Let's factor in the maintenance charges. What's our budget? The area/ location... Do we want a ready and established community which has it's obvious pros with it; or are we more keen on watching the value of our investment appreciate? Going in for a developing area/ locality with prices that have not reached it's peak might seem more of a risk but will therefore, fetch us greater rewards. Something ready in the resale market has additional hidden costs at the time of purchase but might work for us, versus looking in to off plan and paying current bills with the deposits for an off plan investment. It is all about the numbers and the math... good news is, the payment plans offered for off plan projects works for us as buyers in the current market. The reason to go over the basics is cause we ought to know that we need to prioritize based on what we want more (like everything else in life :)

I want to proceed to speak of some projects that would work best for some of the why's mentioned above. My intent to be on here is to give you some food for thought. There's so much to talk about.. VAT, the current real estate market, the current thriving projects and communities in Dubai right now and more.. it's all coming.
