Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the lives lost in the tragic Nehanda ferry accident in Kariba. We extend our deepest condolences to every family and loved one facing this unimaginable loss, and we hold those still missing in our thoughts.
To the brave heroes working tirelessly on the ground, searching, recovering, bringing belongings home, supporting families, and piecing together the circumstances of this tragedy, thank you. Your courage, dedication and compassion in the face of such heartbreak will never be forgotten.
May those who lost their lives rest peacefully, may the missing be found, and may strength and comfort surround every family affected.
