Powering Zambia's Copper Revolution.

Our Managing Partner, Mr. James Banda, delivered compelling insights at the 7th Annual ACGC Conference in Livingstone on Zambia's copper future and the infrastructure needed to unlock it.

As Chairman of the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) and Director at the Lusaka International Arbitration Centre, Mr. James Banda brings a unique perspective combining energy expertise with legal acumen.

Key Highlights:

Copper is driving global electrification from EVs to renewable energy technologies. Zambia's target of 3 million metric tons by 2030/31 is achievable with the right energy and infrastructure systems. With 3,700 MW heavily reliant on hydropower, diversification through solar and alternatives is essential. Projects like the Lobito Rail Line and TAZARA upgrades are critical to strengthening the copper value chain.
