Reflecting on Lusaka Arbitration Week 2026

Lusaka Arbitration Week was not just a gathering of practitioners. It was a clear signal that arbitration in Zambia is no longer a peripheral option. It is becoming central to how serious commercial disputes are being resolved.
As Equitas Legal Practitioners, we do not approach arbitration as an alternative. We approach it as strategy.

Last Friday, Team Equitas came together for a team building session that flowed into our end of year dinner.

We wrapped up the day in style with good food, great laughs and even better company. A well deserved moment to connect and enjoy being together.

This festive season, Team Equitas spent time at The Home of Happiness for Disabled Children in Chamba Valley, sharing smiles, laughter and festive cheer. We went as a team to donate some necessities and more importantly, to connect with the incredible children and caregivers who make this place feel like home.

It was a humbling reminder that even small acts of giving can make a meaningful difference. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back and stand with a community that does so much with so little.

We encourage individuals, families and organisations to consider supporting homes like this in any way they can. Together, we can help spread hope and happiness where it is needed most.
