Hi Everyone, scammer are out in full force😣🤬

ANONYMOUS has been through a terrible ordeal today which she would like to share with everyone as a warning - it is a complicated story so doing it in point form - please read all of it

There is a scammer that takes properties from the portals (in this case ANONYMOUS's property)

The scammer then copies the property and creates a tiktok of the property under their name - in this case it was created under the tiktok "propertysolutions_"

People then enquire about the property on tiktok and the scammer responds to them getting their details and arranging a viewing

At the same time the SCAMMER is arranging the viewing with ANONYMOUS - AS IF he is the client

SO the scammer is the middle person - to ANONYMOUS he is pretending to be the client - to the client he is pretending to be ANONYMOUS

The appointment is set up and ANONYMOUS meets with the actual client (even though she has been communicating with the scammer unknowingly)

For example ANONYMOUS messaged the scammer (thinking it was the client) "what car are you driving"

The scammer messages the actual client who then responds "Black bmw"

The scammer then sends that to ANONYMOUS

So ALL the messages are from the scammer but she thinks it is from the client who she is meeting with in the black bmw

The scammer then follows up with the client after the viewing and asks if they are interested and sends them an application form - the client thinks they are communicating with ANONYMOUS

The client then pays R51 000 to the scammer - thinking it is the agent ANONYMOUS

The client realises this is a scam - guess who he reports to the police station as fraud.... the agent who he viewed the property with = ANONYMOUS

ANONYMOUS was escorted to Douglasdale police station - luckily everything has been sorted out and they know that both ANONYMOUS and the client have been scammed
