As a member of the Social Justice Foundation, Annette is a Gqeberha-based mediator, fully qualified, trained and NABFAM accredited in all aspects of family and divorce mediation, as well as a COMENSA registered life coach. As a NABFAM accredited mediator and Social Justice Foundation member, I am fully qualified, trained and equipped to help individuals overcome some of life's most overwhelming ob
stacles. My personal experiences in a dynamic blended family have only further equipped me to help clients navigate their own experiences, emotions and challenges as well as facilitate alternative dispute resolutions (ADR). In a society in which divorce is more prevalent than ever before and which has seen an increase in blended families, my role is to bridge the gap by finding solutions to a variety of different challenges. I am here to show you that a fair outcome for your situation exists and can be implemented. My goal is to ensure that you leave satisfied and able to live your life to your fullest. The mediation process, a legal form of ADR in the eyes of our constitution, has the chance to provide individuals with more flexible outcomes as opposed to processes like litigation, for example. In many cases, when individuals are open to the mediation process, the result could be reconciliation - and is incredible to witness as a mediator. All signs seem to indicate that mediation will be the way of the future in South Africa to curb unnecessary, and often lengthy, litigation cases, especially when children are involved. As a neutral party, I facilitate a structured yet informal process that puts all parties' needs front and center. This small act from my side creates a safe space for parties to express their emotions and concerns regarding a particular issue or challenge. I can facilitate the mediation process in person or remotely depending entirely on the clients.
