Conveyancer Position at Kloppers Cape Incorporated : From 1 October 2025
Location: Durbanville, Cape Town
Kloppers Cape Inc, a dynamic law firm based in Durbanville Cape Town, is seeking a motivated Conveyancer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to establish him/herself at our Firm.

Key responsibilities:
· Overseeing the Transfer and Bond registration processes
· Support paralegals in various practice areas within the conveyancing area
· Engage with clients and business partners
· Perform administrative tasks to ensure efficient process management Attend on clients for signing up of mortgage bond documents

Requirements:
· LLB degree from a recognised South African university.
· Admissions as an Attorney and Conveyancer of the High Court
· Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, LexisNexis products, and E4 will be an advantage Experience in Developments conveyancing and admission as a Notary Public will be an added advantage Driver’s Licence

Did you know that certain provisions in the Labour Relations Act and Basic Conditions of Employment act can be bypassed or “contracted out of” in an employment contract?

This is commonly done in respect of dispute resolution between an employer and individual employee, whereby the parties agree that certain disputes such as dismissals for example, shall be resolved by private arbitration as opposed to at the CCMA.

The “72-hour clause” generally contained in most sale agreements allows a seller to accept a better offer from another buyer if the original buyer fails to meet specific conditions, such as securing mortgage finance or selling a property. This clause thus gives the seller the flexibility to consider offers from financially stronger buyers than the original buyer.

It is important to note this clause can only be invoked before all suspensive conditions are met and must be clearly drafted to require the new offer to be unconditional.
