On the 16th May in The North Gauteng High Court, Proxi Smart Services (Pty) Ltd. lost their application to to be allowed to do what it referred to as “non-reserved” or “administrative” conveyancing-related services. The court found that this had no basis in law, and dismissed the application with costs. The judgment confirms that the conveyancing process requires specialised skills.
