Moritz National Security Law Association The Military and National Security Law Students Association promotes awareness and fosters dialogue Freedom is not free – support our troops!

The mission of the Military Law Students Association is to promote the interests of the military within the legal community. The organization strives to foster a relationship between the Moritz College of Law and Central Ohio, to support the American men and women of the Armed Forces, and to educate the college and local community about the military. Our members include students who are veterans,

are on active duty, are interested in a career with the Armed Forces, have family in the Armed Forces, or simply want to support the Armed Forces. To accomplish its mission, MLSA conducts “support the troops” drives and engages in other activities to increase awareness and foster understanding of military issues and concerns. MLSA actively promotes Judge Advocate careers in the Marine Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard, professional development of its members, social events, and networking within Central Ohio.

Summer Fellowship Opportunity:

Please take a look at this link: https://www.faspe-ethics.org/law/

Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE) provides a unique opportunity for law students (as well as other students) for a few weeks each summer. Please see their mission statement and history below.

One of Prof. Rudesill's former RAs had a great experience with them and it comes highly recommended. If you've never had the opportunity to visit a former N**i concentration camp in person, this is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the the intersection of law and ethics. The study of the slippery slope that was the law in N**i Germany is perhaps one of the best case studies for our profession.

The deadline for the upcoming summer fellowship is, Monday, December 30, 2019.

Have a great rest of your weekend!
