Thanks New Era! It's important that Judge Atkins and the CCBA make sure that the Constitution is read in its entirety- even though it isn't necessarily exciting to listen to, especially when it's hard to hear over the traffic from Bethel Street road work!

A Law Day Celebration was held May 1, 2015, on the steps of the Justice Center. Organized by Circuit Court Judge John L.Atkins, a ceremony was held where members of the bench and bar, and members of the public, took turns reading the entire United States Constitution in commemoration of Law Day. There will be a meeting of the CCBA on September 5, 2014, at 12 noon, in the conference room of the Circuit Clerk's office.

801 Main will be providing lunch. Details regarding the menu and price per person to follow.

Please RSVP if you plan on attending. We will be swearing in new officers, talking about changes in the local rules, and discussing social media use and the CCBA,

Hi CCBA members -

My first official act as your new President is to replace all those letters, emails, etc. regarding bar dues, news, CLE's etc. with this page. I am ditching the old email and contact lists. I will not be sending out any emails except reminders to check the FB page for events and news. I will still be sending out real Bar Party invitations, however :)

Please feel free to comment or to share any pictures that we could use instead of the generic flag.
