澳洲的技術移民政策正在更新！現時的ANZSCO (澳洲和紐西蘭標準職業分類) 將於2024年12月6日轉為採用澳洲自行編製的 OSCA (澳洲職業標準分類)，而紐西蘭亦預計於2024年11月底公布轉用NOL (國家職業名單)。

2024-2025年度澳洲政府針對移民計劃更新的四大重點：

Australian budget 2024 migration updates

The Government will set the 2024–25 permanent Migration Program planning level at 185,000 places and allocate 132,200 places (around 70 per cent) to the Skill stream.

The Global Talent Visa will be replaced by a new National Innovation Visa to target talented migrants

The 188 investment visa will be closed.

482 Temporary Skill Shortage will reduce the work experience requirement from 2 years to 1 year

【澳洲升學，GTE不再，GS取代】
GS (Genuine Student Requirement) 將於2024年3月23日生效，如計劃到澳洲升學必須留意！
早前澳洲移民局宣布GTE將會被GS取代，申請澳洲學生簽證 (Subclass 500) 需要轉為提交GS，同時申請者需遞交證明文件。

新制GS預期需要提供以下相關資料：
•⁠ ⁠前往澳洲升學和申請該校的原因
•⁠ ⁠選擇該科目的原因和課程對日後的個人發展
•⁠ 課程對日後的個人發展
•⁠ ⁠現時生活狀況 (包括家庭、就業和經濟等方面)
•⁠ ⁠畢業後回國的去向

針對500或485 簽證的變更，澳洲移民局將會持績更新，如想了解更多關於GS資訊，請歡迎隨時聯絡，為你謹慎分析及一一解答注意事項

Genuine Student (GS) Requirements and English language requirement changes effective 23 March 2024

As announced by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs, the requirements for GTE will change to a Genuine Student requirements. As opposed to writing a statement, students will be asked a series of questions including:
- Why they chose their course
- Why they chose to study at that university
- Explain how completing the course will be of benefit to you
-Their economic, social, family circumstances prior to commencement of study
- Indicate you have sufficient funds to study in Australia
- That you do intend to return to your home country at the end of your studies.

There have also been changes to the validity of the English language IELTS result will only be valid for 1 year instead of 3.
- The minimum test scores for a student visa will increase from 5.5 to 6.
- The English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Course ELICOS course increases from 4.5 to 5.
- For university foundation or pathway programs will require a minimum requirement of IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent).

For the 485 Temporary Graduate Hong Kong stream will not change with the IELTS requirements remaining at overall 6 with a minimum score of 5 for each component of the test.

2023年12月澳洲入境移民新政策

根據聯邦政府最新公布：

- 將會開放多種「專業技能」渠道以滿足澳洲偏遠地區需求。
- 提供更多機會給臨時技術短缺簽證人士銜接申請永久居民
- 如該項職業技能對國家相對重要，亦可申請澳洲永久居留
- 「真實臨時進入要求」(GTE) 將被取代名為「真實學生測試」(GST)
- 新政策將提高留學生的最低英語要求
- 持 485 臨時畢業生簽證審批時間將會縮短，但英語要求將從IELTS 6分 提高至 6.5分

Australian migration update December 2023

The Australian government recently announced the following:

- There will be more skilled pathways available to meet the needs of regional Australia
- There will be more opportunities for those on temporary work visas to be able to apply for Permanent Residency
- There will be a commitment to permanent migration in areas deemed nationally important
- Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement to be replaced by Genuine Student Test
- Higher English language requirements for international students
- 485 Temporary Graduate holders will become more streamlined, but the English requirement will be raised from IELTS 6 to 6.5

從2023年11月25日開始，485畢業生簽證豁免期已結束，意味申請者不能在澳洲境外申請此簽證，必須在澳洲境內進行申請。

482臨時技術短缺簽證的規定也有變動 - 申請人必須獲得新的提名，或者在過去三年中有兩年為同一僱主工作或者在同一職業中工作。

Effective 25/11/2023, the 485 graduate visa concession period has ended. This means graduates can no longer apply from outside Australia. You must be in Australia to apply for this visa.

482 Temporary skill shortage visa changes must be a new nomination or applicants must have worked with the same employer or worked in the same occupation for 2 out of the previous 3 years.

2023年7月澳洲移民資訊更新

TSMIT (臨時技術移民收入門檻) 將會由從53,900澳元提高至70,000澳元。

技術移民方式將會有137,100個配額，當中包括
- 36,825 個僱主擔保簽證
- 30,375 個獨立技術移民簽證
- 5,000 個全球人才簽證

家庭類別方式亦將會有52,500個配額，當中包括
- 40,500 個配偶簽證
- 8,500 個父母簽證
- 3,000 個兒童簽證

2022-23年度最多技術移民移居州份為維多利亞州和新南威爾士州。

澳洲政府亦為持有500學生簽證及485臨時畢業生簽證的香港居民提供200個簽證配額，允許學生透過Hong Kong Stream「獨立技術簽證(189)」或「偏遠地區技術移民永久居留簽證(191)」申請永久居留權。

Australian Migration update from July 2023

TSMIT (Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold) will increase from AUD $53,900 to $70,000

The skilled stream has 137,100 places which includes:
- 36,825 Employer sponsored visas
- 30,375 Skilled independent visas
- 5,000 Global Talent Independent visa

The family stream has 52,500 places including:
- 40,500 partner visas
- 8,500 parent visas
- 3,000 child visas

The biggest number of skilled migrations in 2022-23 migrated to Victoria and New South Wales

There are also 200 visas available to Hong Kong citizens under the 500 student and 485 Temporary Graduate stream, which allows students to apply for the 189/191 Hong Kong Stream.

Changes to the Australian migration program is likely to change over the next few months, so please stay tuned, we will bring you the news as we have it.
