When a child is born outside of the United States but acquires U.S. citizenship at birth through a U.S. citizen parent or parents, we issue a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) to formally document citizenship. For the first time in 14 years, we recently released a newly redesigned CRBA document. The new design features the National Mall and the Tidal Basin in Washington DC during cherry blossom season and it incorporates the latest security features to prevent fraud and uphold document integrity🌸🌸🌸.
