IPAC team seeks a senior paralegal and a junior associate to join our progressive and expanding team.

Minimum qualifications and requisite abilities:
1. Possession of a Bachelor's Degree with a major in law; holding a legal practice certificate is advantageous.
2. Proficiency in English, achieving a minimum of 6.5 IELTS score or its equivalent.
3. Capability to independently oversee clients' assignments under the direction of associates and partners.
4. Prior experience in intellectual property and business advisory, with a minimum of one year served as a paralegal or junior associate.

2 important regulations have been confirmed by Department of IP rights of Cambodia.

1. Applicant should combine all classes for one mark in one single multi-class application for filing on the same day.

2. No grace period for filing Affidavits of Use/non-Use to maintain registered marks.

Copyrights Office of Vietnam (CoV) has completed a fruitful seminar on amendments to Law of Copyrights and guiding documents, a chance for IP practitioners and stakeholders to give comments and suggestions on the proposed new forms used in registration of copyrights and related rights. Our opinions already sent and we hope to contribute to building of more comprehensive copyrights regulations and procedures.

Wonderful news that on 1 November 2022 the Vietnamese government agreed to join Marrakesh Treaty to facilitate access to published works for persons who are blind, visually impaired or otherwise print disabled. Preparations for approving started.
