**Law Enforcement Appreciation Day 💙**

Today, we honor the men and women who choose service over self, those who put on the uniform knowing the risks, yet show up anyway for their communities.

On this day, I want to give a deeply personal thank you to my husband.
He served 22 years in law enforcement, including SWAT, dedicating his life to protecting others. His career ended after he was severely injured in the line of duty and medically retired, but his service, sacrifice, and integrity will never end.

Behind every badge is a family that serves too. We carry the worry, the late nights, the missed holidays, and the quiet strength it takes to stand beside someone who runs toward danger.

To all law enforcement officers—past and present—thank you for your courage, commitment, and sacrifice.
And to my husband: I see you, I honor you, and I am endlessly proud of you. 💙🚔

Not sure what counts as “general notary work”? Here’s a simple breakdown of the most common documents we notarize and what they mean — so you know exactly when to call Anchor & Badge Notary.

✔ Power of Attorney (POA)

A legal document that gives someone else permission to make decisions on your behalf.
Notaries verify identity and witness the signing but cannot give legal advice about which POA you need.

✔ Wills & Trusts (No legal advice)

These documents express your wishes about property and assets.
A notary confirms the signer’s identity and willingness to sign but cannot draft, prepare, or explain legal content.

✔ Affidavits

A written statement that the signer swears or affirms is true.
Notaries administer the oath and witness the signature.

✔ Medical Forms

Documents such as medical consent, treatment authorization, or advanced healthcare directives.
A notary confirms identity and witnesses your signature — helping ensure medical providers accept the form.

✔ School Forms
