Owned and operated by the mother-daughter team of Linda Shrader and Echo Westover, Larger Than Life Murals has been creating custom public art murals, building logos, and hand-painted signage since 2007. Being fellow artists and family creates a strong bond, and a special working relationship they feel blessed to have. From the Morongo Basin, to Orange County, to the Salton Sea, their work has been commissioned by private individuals, business owners, communities, non-profit organizations, school districts, art councils, county agencies, and others. Linda has spoken publicly on the subject of art and culture as an economic engine, and was a founding board member of the Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council. Painting exhibition murals for the general public at the Indian Wells Arts Festival from 2008-2011, she has been interviewed on live TV news, and featured in numerous print media stories and articles. She has donated time, art, and materials to classrooms and non-profit organizations, and mentors many young adult artists. After receiving a scholarship for graphic design, Echo attended the Art Institute of Inland Empire- CA, until she decided to pursue fine art. She has painted numerous private commissions as well as public murals, officially becoming co-owner of Larger Than Life Murals in 2012. An advocate of art in public schools, Echo's passion is to become a credentialed art teacher, sharing her art and knowledge to inspire and educate young artists about the many career opportunities in the arts.
