These are examples of forms that may be notarized and the list goes on.

However, a notary has the right to not perform services.

I am not a lawyer and I cannot prepare a document or explain a document other than a generic, this is a/an ______________. Or to tell you that I am allowed by law to or not to do something.

To go farther on that point, you cannot get around going to court by having me stamp and sign something. I am also not a judge.

As a notary it is VERY important to know what you are doing. It is not ok to just stamp and sign everything.

A notary is not authorized to make certified copies of birth certificates. These restrictions apply to all vital records, including death, marriage, and divorce certificates.

Customer Service is HUGE. It doesn’t matter how many people are doing the same thing you are! People will pick you every time when you are accommodating, respectful, positive, timely, knowledgeable and informative!

Make sure you do your research before using a Notary or Signing Agent. Not everyone puts the same amount of time into knowing the ins and outs of the services they provide.

I have experience with estate planning, power of Attorney and Service documents.

Being a notary is more than having a stamp, journal and signing. We cannot give legal advice. We can only ask u what forms you would like included if additional forms are needed. It is very important that your Notary has put the work in to give you the quality and services you deserve.
