Sometimes the hardest part of getting a document notarized isn't finding a notary- it's finding the time or being able to travel to one.

That's where a mobile notary can help.

Between work, family, errands, appointments, and everything else life throws at us, taking care of ourselves can easily fall to the bottom of the list.

I’m learning that self-care doesn’t always have to be something big. Sometimes it’s a quiet cup of coffee, a morning walk, reading a few pages of a book, or simply saying, “That can wait until tomorrow.”

Building Redbud Notary Co. has reminded me that ideas are the easy part. The real work happens in the early mornings, the late evenings, the miles on the road, and all the little behind-the-scenes tasks nobody sees.

But getting to help people in my community makes that work worth it.

Nobody wants to schedule a notary appointment only to realize they’re missing something important.

Here’s a quick checklist to help you prepare:

Bring a current, acceptable photo ID.
Have the entire document with you.
Leave the signature lines blank until the appointment.
Make sure everyone who needs to sign is available.
Ask beforehand if witnesses will be required.

July, you went by quickly!

As we head into August, what are you looking forward to most?

Maybe it’s the kids returning to school, settling back into a routine, football season getting closer, or simply knowing that cooler weather is eventually coming. 😂

For me, August feels like a fresh start—a chance to get organized, settle into new routines, and keep building Redbud Notary Co. one appointment and one connection at a time.

By the end of July, summer can start feeling like one long list of things we meant to do.

The closets didn’t all get cleaned. The day trips didn’t all happen. The paperwork may still be sitting on the kitchen counter—and that’s okay.

There’s still time to enjoy a slow evening, sit outside a little longer, or finally take care of one thing that has been hanging over your head.

Summer doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Sometimes the ordinary days are the ones we remember most. ☀️

Summer doesn’t always have to mean a big vacation or a perfectly planned day.

Sometimes it looks like dinner outside, a walk before the heat sets in, kids running through the yard, a cold drink on the porch, or staying up a little later because the sun hasn’t quite disappeared.

Those ordinary summer moments may not seem like much while they’re happening, but they often become the memories we hold onto the longest.

Have you ever wondered what a mobile notary carries around?

My notary bag may not look very exciting from the outside, but it holds everything I need to bring the notary office to you: my notary stamp, journal, pens, thumbprint pad, loose certificates, appointment information, and a few backup supplies—because I’d rather have something and not need it than need it and not have it. 😂

Being a mobile notary means preparing before I ever pull out of the driveway. I want to arrive organized, ready, and respectful of your time.
