Good morning Utica! Plows have been working hard since last night. All eleven of the City's plows are out right now. There are approximately eleven routes in the City, and it takes 6-8 hours to complete just one route. Meanwhile, the snow keeps coming down. So if you think your street hasn't been plowed, it almost certainly has, but more snow has fallen since they were last there. The DPW is literally doing everything they can to plow as quickly as possible. If you can, stay home, and there is no street parking until further notice. And if you see a plow, give them a way and express your gratitude for how hard they work. They have been at it all night and won't be stopping anytime soon. Happy Winter everyone!

To all those who have lost someone close to them or even not close to them because of this covid-19 I pray and wish the best for all of you. This is something very hard to deal with In Our Lifetime cuz we're so used to our freedoms. But if we all work together follow the mandated instructions I believe we can beat this and get back to our normal lives and not make what's going on now our new normal. Those of you who don't believe that you have lost someone I don't believe that this is real. You have lost someone Weatherby a neighbor a friend of a neighbor Good Neighbor lost one of his relatives or her relatives, someone you interact with has lost someone and weather isn't it has affected you firsthand it is still affecting us one way or another. we are an American people weather native or not but we are all American people and we need to work together and be there for each other. Not just in time of disaster but always.
