Earlier today call from the school principle about Ezra

Kristine Brincks Linnan and I were on the phone together when we were told that EZRA is the 2023 Sevastopol High School VALEDICTORIAN!!!!

He is among amazing company at the top of the graduating class. A huge percentage of the class scored above 30 on the ACT. A ton of them are National Honor Society inductees. (Like a third of the class?)

Those immediately in line with him are tremendously smart and athletic people who he calls his very, very best friends. They all pushed each other since grade school. I think the culture of academic achievement as important to the class was driven by these kids.

He applied to 23 schools... has been accepted to all who have replied. Still waiting on his top choices.

It's a huge honor to get that call.

With over 20 years of experience in a major metropolitan area (where I owned my own law firm of 12 full-time staff), I have moved back to Door County, Wisconsin and have been representing my neighbors from Door County south to Green Bay, the Fox Valley, and as far as Manitowoc County for the past 7 years.

I work with clients at my office on Lake Michigan (or I will work with you over zoom/email/ and the internet. There is no reason to travel if you don't prefer that). I can also come to your location.

My rates are nearly half that of my competitors (as I work from a home office, keep a small roster of clients, and do not rely on staff to do my work for me).

I don't waste your time or money on busy work and aim to get your case done on your budget-whatever that is. I have handled MANY 8-figure divorces and business dissolution matters and have attended countless trials. There is no aspect of your family law issue I cannot deal with... right down to a simple modification of child support or a tweak to your parenting schedule.

You will ONLY have my personal cell phone number and I answer text messages at all hours of the day and night. I will meet with you after hours or on weekends.

There is no cost for a consultation (which could be several hours, depending on the case). I will not charge you until I understand what you need... and I have a plan to help you.

Won a Minnesota Court of Appeals case! Now we will see if the other lawyer wants to argue it at the Supreme Court. Me? Id rather not.

HUGE win in court today! My first case in Door County reached its conclusion. Sometimes a Court Victory is just part of the job and sometimes it genuinely matters from an emotional perspective. Sometimes you just get a case that you must must win for reasons other than your contract with the client. This was one of those times. Usually in my line of work you only partially win or maybe you mostly win but today we literally one everything. The tiny concession offered to the other party was simply a gesture to prevent her appealing of the case. It's also nice to acquire a friend in the process of representing a client. That almost never happens.
