Earlier today call from the school principle about Ezra
"Please call me back as soon as possible"
(I hate those kind of messages)
Kristine Brincks Linnan and I were on the phone together when we were told that EZRA is the 2023 Sevastopol High School VALEDICTORIAN!!!!
He is among amazing company at the top of the graduating class. A huge percentage of the class scored above 30 on the ACT. A ton of them are National Honor Society inductees. (Like a third of the class?)
Those immediately in line with him are tremendously smart and athletic people who he calls his very, very best friends. They all pushed each other since grade school. I think the culture of academic achievement as important to the class was driven by these kids.
He applied to 23 schools... has been accepted to all who have replied. Still waiting on his top choices.
It's a huge honor to get that call.
Congratulations son!
