Career Counseling & Coaching: Anne Lund Hensley https://www.linkedin.com/in/anne-lund-hensley-870a607/ I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in Career Counseling.

I can assist people of all ages in finding their career path by identifying their gifts which enables them to flow with the current instead of against it. Many times a client’s core challenge is they have lost belief in themselves for whatever the reason. This is, in my opinion, the core issue to career counseling thus my personal mission statement: “To facilitate and encourage all persons to beli

eve in and love themselves.” This is the area in which I receive the most positive feedback. Working with lawyers and law students is one of my unique practice specialties resulting from 20 years walking alongside those attending and struggling with the very specific challenges of attending law school. My background in education, which includes teaching in junior high, counseling in high school, counseling 20 years in law school coupled with working in both a private and government career center, and maintaining a private practice for 37 + years has given me tremendous experience in working with people of all ages and situations. The core of my counseling includes helping people realize their core preferences for these are gifts they bring to career, volunteer and relationship. If they are not rewarded for these gifts they will always be going upstream. Also, by assisting people to become aware of his/her own preferences, they will become aware that others (bosses, coworkers, significant others, friends, family) may have a different approaches to task. I encouraging all to realize the importance of developing the opposite preference so as to have a more balanced, peaceful life. I present a variety of programs to business, universities/schools and social organizations. Among the more popular group presentations include reviewing business/social etiquette skills and creating positive first impressions.
