Legal Focus Group

The judicial process exists to guarantee that every United States citizen receives a fair trial. From criminal cases to personal injury to business disputes, all lawsuits have two sides to the story. It is the responsibility of an attorney to help a client tell their story to a judge or jury so that they can make an objective decision based on facts. A legal focus group is a tool that many attorneys use to test and practice specific aspects of their cases in front of a group of people that represent a mock jury. Participants are then asked for their opinions, which the attorneys will use to make decisions on how they will present the case in the courtroom. Participants can expect to hear about an array of cases in the form of opening statements, evidence presentations, witness and expert testimony, and more. After each piece of information, the group will be asked questions about what they saw or heard. It’s a fun way to participate in the legal process while also making a little extra cash.
