No wonder Cara Spencer’s administration was anxious to get into St. Louis. I looked up how much folks could expect to get who suffered loss in the tornado. Here’s the answer I got:

“Individuals can receive up to $770 for immediate emergency needs, plus up to $43,600 to assist with home repair costs and $43,600 for other recovery costs. A federal disaster declaration also provides emergency SNAP and unemployment benefits.”

Now this is significant. People are able to apply to FEMA now for help: https://www.disasterassistance.gov/

It's happened again!
We are in need of your gently used towels, blankets, and flat sheets. But especially towels! They are used every day, get worn out fast, and are sometimes thrown away when they get too gross. (Believe it or not, we have a LOT of messes here! 😅)
