What a great day spent in the community this past Saturday! ♥️

We were honored to join our friends and neighbors for Community Day, connecting with local organizations, meeting families, sharing resources, and celebrating the people who make our community such a special place.

One of our favorite parts of the day was inviting attendees to answer the prompt, “Everyone deserves…” The responses included words like safety, peace, respect, housing, a second chance, education, and a voice.

Reading those responses served as a reminder that strong communities are built when people feel supported, valued, and connected. Many of the things written on that paper are the same things we work to advocate for every day.

Thank you to the wonderful people at the The Tabernacle and Tabernacle Community Development Corporation for hosting this and to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared a conversation, and helped make the day such a success. We are proud to be part of a community that continues to show up for one another.
