Our 2025 Preschool graduates.

Last week Dan and I had dinner with 3 of my 4 2016 Preschool kids and their families. This was one of my favorite groups because they were our first official group to graduate from our preschool program. They were the first group I encouraged to attend EPSOC and of the 3 that applied, 3 were selected in that year's lotto. It's crazy to think they are moving on to high school this fall.
Mrs. Janet and I are so proud of you all and so happy that we have been able to stay in touch with you and your families to watch you grow.
Hunter couldn't make it to dinner that night because he was heading to the East side of the state where he will be staying for Hockey. (I edited the last photo to include him.) Don't forget us when you're famous Hunter!!!

Why does my child have so many pictures in their cubby at the end of each day?

This morning one of our kids brought me a picture he drew at home. I knew exact what it was before dad told me! This is a great example of why I always keep paper, crayons, pencils and markers out and available and why I encourage our children to draw and color whatever they want whenever they want.

Without teacher intervention,
Drawing promotes fine motor development, creativie thinking, and literacy.

By asking questions about the drawing and giving examples or making suggestions, I am promoting social development, cognitive development, and literacy skills.
