To stay globally relevant, the historic 95-year-old Cotton Bowl in Fair Park is undergoing a massive facelift.

The shiny new upgrades include:
💰 Massive $140 million gutting and modernization project
🏗️ Massively widening the deeply crowded, dusty concourses
📺 Adding huge new escalators and massive video screens
🍾 Building brand new, high-end luxury suites for premium fans

This is a massive financial win that will help revitalize the aging Fair Park area and attract global soccer matches. But old-school sports purists are deeply terrified that the shiny new concrete and luxury boxes will completely destroy the historic grit that made the Cotton Bowl famous.

Did yall get out in the snow today?! ☃️

One of our favorite parts about living in the Fort Worth/Dallas area is that we get all four seasons but we aren’t shoveling snow all winter.

We typically get 1-2 snow(ice) days each year when school is cancelled and the town essentially shuts down.

We soak up every moment of this rare winter wonderland— walks around the neighborhood, cozy time by the fire, and even some snowball fights.

…because who knows when we will see snow like this again ❄️

I have absolutely loved every second I got to spend with this family. I was fortunate to meet one of their daughters last year and helped her and her husband buy their very first home. They had just moved to North Fort Worth from Utah and were planting roots.
