Brief description of the positions:
Office Assistant 3-Under general supervision, performs advanced level, complex clerical tasks of a complicated nature involving interpretation and application of policies and practices. Interprets office procedures, rules, and regulations. Performs related work as required. Maintains, processes, sorts and file documents; researches files for data and gathers information. Types a variety of documents from verbal instruction, written or voice recorded dictation. Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages and complaints and gives information to the caller regarding the services and procedures of the organizational unit. Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail. Operate office equipment such as a calculator, copying machine, and fax machine. Files records and reports. Needs to be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Google Suite.
