VICTIMS' WRIT BEFORE THE OKLAHOMA SUPREME COURT UPDATE
For unknown reasons, the ability to download the pleadings from OSCN was removed. I am uploading the entire Writ here beause I know there is a fair amount of interest in this case, in the plight of our clients, and in the legal precedent being set by the Supreme Court taking up a Writ filed by victims in a criminal matter.

-On April 24, 2026, we filed a Writ of Prohibition with the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals seeking to stop Cole's r**e case from being expunged. (PR-2026-298)
-On May 12, 2026, the Court of Criminal Appeals transferred the matter to the Oklahoma Supreme Court. (PR-124060)

On February 24, 2026, the Tulsa County District Attorney made its first false public statement about my victim clients. I issued a statement in response simply clarifying that my clients had not approved of the plea.

Victims of other crimes have been seeking me out and reaching out to me ever since then. I have become an outlet and a source of validation for crime victims who were trampled by the prosecutors who were allegedly fighting to get them justice. Victims are still in emotional turmoil years after the prosecution ended, and it’s the way they were duped or harmed by the prosecutors who were their so-called protectors that haunts them more than the original crime.

That is what prompted me to start Victim Rights Counsel for r**e victims in Tulsa to obtain free independent lawyers, and later to start Oklahoma Victim Rights Self-Advocacy for all the other crime victims in the State of Oklahoma. Because I couldn’t listen to all those stories and do nothing.
