ALERTA:Actualización de tarifas para solicitudes de asilo, permisos de trabajo, solicitudes de residencia y mucho más a partir del 4 de julio, fecha en que el presidente Trump firmó “The Big Beautiful Bill”.

Sin embargo, Estamos esperando que las agencias del tribunal/USCIS/DHS actualicen sus sistemas para reflejar los cambios. PERO es seguro que las tarifas entrarán en vigor este mes sin otro aviso.

U-Visa certification officially signed by Mountain View PD !
Before an applicant submits the Uvisa application to USCIS, they first MUST get the certificate approved & signed by the law enforcement assigned to the investigation of the case.

Why?
Because USCIS needs confirmation directly from law enforcement that (1) the applicant was indeed the victim of the crime, (2) the applicant cooperated with the investigation, (3) and the crime was one that actually occurred under their law enforcement jurisdiction…to put it in simple terms—>that the incident that we are basing the U visa on is legit.

Once the certificate is signed, the applicant then has 6 months to file the U visa with USCIS.

The parole in place program for spouses and stepchildren of US citizens has officially ended. If you filed, USCIS will most likely eat up your filing fee. I know how frustrating this is. I also believe that this program should have been presented to the people early on the presidency to have ample time to fight back. 😒

However, If you qualified for the PIP, you most likely qualify for the waiver (el perdon). Yes it’s scary but it’s possible with the right legal help and guidance ! 🙏🏼
