Texas residents! Texas Open Carry Law is now in force. It is critical that you know what this means for you personally and for your business. As a business, if you don't want people to carry weapons on your premises, you need to post appropriate signage. As individuals, if you wish to carry a handgun, there are still a large number of places where restrictions and prohibitions apply.

Remember Texas residents, only today and tomorrow are left in the warrant grace period for the Texas warrant roundup. We saw this happen last year, and if you have an active municipal warrant, police will be seeking to "round you up" on them. Tell your friends and coworkers and pay those tickets!

ATTENTION FELLOW TEXANS: If you have an outstanding municipal ticket (traffic, parking or misdemeanor), the Great Texas Warrant Roundup is in effect. There is a grace period to pay these tickets until March 4th. Starting March 7th, police will "round up" anyone with outstanding warrants on city tickets. If someone you know has a municipal ticket, contact an attorney, go to municipal court or go online to pay it.
