According to Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist for NAR, when mortgage rates get to 6% there will be 560,000 additional buyers who will qualify for the median priced home in the U.S. When this happens, we will see an influx of buyers to the market, which of course will shift seller sentiment and reduce concessions and desire to negotiate on price.
