BREAKING NEWS: Restore the Vote Responds to Bad Faith Attempt to Disenfranchise Thousands of Minnesotans Through Frivolous Suit

"For nearly two decades, lawyers, activists, organizers, & legislative champions have labored relentlessly to successfully extend the constitutionally guaranteed freedom to vote to more than 55K Minnesotans living in the community who are impacted by the legal justice system.

"Voting rights restoration that passed this year at the stands on firm legal & constitutional grounds and the people filing this lawsuit know this. It serves no purpose other than to attempt to waste time, energy, & resources that would otherwise be invested in bringing more voices into our democracy.

"The Restore the Vote coalition remains committed to the work of enrolling newly eligible voters and bringing more people from our communities into the democratic process.

"This lawsuit is an unsurprising development from a reactionary minority in this country that has the resources to attempt to deny agency and constitutional rights to their neighbors. We remain undeterred in our commitment to building the inclusive democracy Minnesotans expect and this country deserves."

Tomorrow is the Day!!! Join us for "From Restoration to Registration!" We will rally together and get the first of the 55k Minnesotans to have their voting rights restored, registered!!!! It is to be a grand event!

See you tomorrow at 10am for the rally and press event. They we'll kick off a canvass at 10:30 to get our neighbors registered!
