Get ready for a fingerprinting event with me.

I tend to overpack, but when you’re providing mobile Live Scan services, being prepared matters. I never know exactly what I’ll run into at an event, so I’d rather have too much than not enough.

Before heading out, I print extra Live Scan forms and pack my portable printer, extra pens, alcohol pads for hands with excess moisture, lotion for overly dry hands, and the rest of my event supplies.

Then there’s my Live Scan bag with my laptop and fingerprinting equipment basically my business on wheels.

Ever wonder why the cost of a Live Scan can be different depending on what you need it for?

There are two parts to the cost:

🏛️ Government Fees — DOJ and/or FBI fees vary based on the application type and requesting agency.

🖐🏼 Live Scan Rolling Fee — My standard rolling fee is $30 per application and covers the fingerprinting service and cost associated with submitting the electronic submission.

🔢 Have a billing code on your Live Scan form? The government fees may be billed directly to the requesting company/agency, and you’ll only pay the rolling fee at your appointment.

👥 Need fingerprints for a group, school, organization, or employer? Group and event discounts are available!

What an incredible evening serving the families of Westbrook Elementary! 💙💛

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to complete their volunteer fingerprinting. It was a pleasure helping so many parents get one step closer to supporting their students through field trips, classroom activities, and school events.

If you’re applying for or filing a claim for VA benefits, California law prohibits notaries from charging a notary fee for qualifying veterans’ benefits documents.

Not everyone realizes that mobile notaries can travel to jails and correctional facilities.

Today I assisted a client at the South Placer County Jail. When someone is incarcerated, important life events don’t stop. Families may need Powers of Attorney, legal paperwork, financial documents, or other forms notarized, and having access to a professional mobile notary can make a difficult situation a little easier.

Hi!! I’m Ava — owner and operator of NorCal Notary and Live Scan.

I started my business in 2021, originally offering notary services before expanding into Live Scan fingerprinting. As a local mama serving the Roseville community, Placer County, and parts of Lincoln, my goal has always been simple: make the process as easy and stress-free as possible for my clients.

I offer convenient mobile services, meaning I come to you. Whether that’s meeting at a coffee shop, your home, or your place of business, I work around your schedule to help make those “to-do” tasks easier to complete.

I know notary work and fingerprinting are often things people are trying to squeeze into already busy lives, so I focus on flexibility, convenience, and a smooth experience from start to finish.
