It is Friday - economic development meeting this morning. Ananda is the new director of the Roseville chamber of commerce and Joe Patterson is our Assemblymember. My Spider-Man Principle article is in the Gold Country media local newspapers today.

Sacramento Historical Society meeting tonight was enlightening. Local newspaper is looking to do more news and political stories. The history of the mascot, Scoopy, and it being drawn first by Walt Disney was a little known fact. My presentation of Sikhs and our history in the area will be on February 23, 2027. After it was announced, several people told me they were looking forward to hearing about the Sikhs.

Sacramento, CA: Ascend NorCal held a meet and greet lunch mixer at the tallest building here, the Wells Fargo Bank building. There was a model of the building at the conference center. Crowe, an accounting firm, was our host and Eric Montas in the blue shirt works there. Some people came from as far away as Foster City and Vacaville to attend this second meeting of Ascend in the Sacramento region.

Yuba Sutter Bar Association president Omar Figueroa and I are in Spider-Man colors today. Meeting at the Sutter County courthouse about AI and legal practice - in fact, you don't need a legal assistant if your law firm is using Protege from LEXIS according to the representatives. However, you better check the work that the AI does before you send it in, your bar license is on the line. AI does not risk anything, as a lawyer you do every time you send in something from your law firm to the courts!

Just invited to speak to the Sacramento Historical Society in February 2027 about Sikhs and their history in this area. It is a group of leaders and historians. According to the executive director and staff, the group is looking forward to my presentation as Sikhs have been in the news.

Yuba Sutter Bar Association, Sutter County judges and community groups hosted a unique event at the Yuba City courthouse. Gridley resident 103 year old Jim Tanimoto told the story of his brother Jack, after a viewing of his documentary. Then a court drama recalled Fred Korematsu's three cases - in 1942, 1944 and in the 1980s where his misdemeanor conviction for avoiding internment in the camps was vacated. High schoolers were all the lawyers, and actual Sutter judges made the historic rulings. Aiden wants to be a lawyer. Sutter County proclamation of May as Asian American History Month followed that afternoon.
