CREDIT CARDS & BUILDING CREDIT 101 !!!

Have you tried applying for Credit Cards & keep getting declined because you have NO/BAD CREDIT?? 🤔
That's because your choosing the WRONG card for you!🤯

Here's a few tips:

You need to gain a Lender's trust to EARN credit... therefore you need a Credit Card in which is SECURED with cash upfront.

Overtime, that same lender will increase your benefits; increased spending limits, rewards, approval on a better Credit Card & a REFUND on your cash upfront! 💸
How do you get to this point???
On-time payments, Utilization less than 33% of the cards limit, & most importantly TIME ⏳

Now there are a lot of banks that offer SECURED CREDIT CARDS but one of my personal favorites is: Capital One Secured CC.
BECAUSE OF ...

1). NO ANNUAL FEES (other banks charge $35+)
2). Can be funded with cash upfront of $49, $99 OR $200.
3). If you deposit ANY amount above your limit will be $200.. If you want a higher limit just deposit MORE ☺️
4). Approval odds are Extremely high!
5). ALERTS when TransUnion & Experian credit reports changes!

With ANY credit card, utilization rate (the percentage of available credit to spend) is 🔑to credit worthiness.

Let's say your credit limit is $200 & your balance is $50. That makes your utilization 25%!

Low utilization rates can have a GREAT impact on your credit score. Just remember utilization rate counts for the total AVAILABLE credit on ALL credit cards, NOT JUST ONE.
