Walt Works LLC attempts to operate with sustainability in mind - alleviating social, economic, and environmental issues with meaningful philanthropy. The mission is to run Walt Works LLC similar to a nonprofit, insofar as to give away at least 5% of year-end assets as charitable donations over the next calendar year. Forming Walt Works as a limited liability holding company provides greater flexib
ility and lower regulatory requirements compared to incorporating as a nonprofit. This business structure allows for a low-overhead, sustainable model to provide potential funds for a wide variety of charitable causes globally. Charitable efforts will include any of the following:
· relief of the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged;
· advancement of religion, education, or science;
· erecting or maintaining public buildings, monuments, or works;
· lessening the burdens of government; and
· promotion of social welfare for any of the above purposes or to lessen neighborhood tensions, eliminate prejudice and discrimination, defend human and civil rights secured by law, or combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency.
