e, with a weight requirement for the rucks of 50 pounds for men, 35 pounds for women. The start time is 8:00 am on May 29th. What is really unique about this event is that it pits veterans who are on felony probation/defendants in a grueling competition against local law enforcement officers, judges, attorneys, prosecutors and civilians. There will be three categories: all male; all female; and coed. Winning teams will be determined by the fastest completion time of all four participants. The event will begin with an opening formation at the American Legion Hall and conclude with an awards ceremony and a BBQ. Several Law Enforcement, Government Agencies and Veteran Court Participants will compete. Teams will include participants from the Riverside Superior Court, several law enforcement agencies; defendants/veterans on felony probation in Veterans Court; the District Attorney Office; Riverside County Probation; the Public Defenderβs Office, and others. This will be a fun, healthy event to assist our Veterans Court and our legal community, and is designed to encourage esprit de corps among our Veterans Court Defendants. This will also be a wonderful opportunity to introduce our community to the Riverside Veterans Court program β its purpose and importance - and participants.
