CVSRA kicked off the Jefferson Cup Young Boys weekend with a Mini-Academy, giving young referees a valuable opportunity to learn and grow from experienced mentors in a positive and constructive environment. A huge congratulations to Kaci Johnson, Elizabeth Schwenk, and Haddie Marshall for being selected to officiate the final ⚽️👏!!!

Feb 8, 2025 - Metro DC-Virginia State Referee Program in conjunction with Central Virginia Referee Association (CVSRA) and Richmond United, certified 64 new referees across 4 Field Training Events.
Thanks to the SRC Mentors and Referee Coaches, Brian Smith, Geoff Goddu, Chris Barnard, and Robert Richmond. As well as 64 new referees who braved 34-degree temperatures and rain.

Rowan’s journey began at just 12 years old, and his passion for soccer has only deepened since then! Growing up in a small soccer town in Northern Virginia, he transitioned from playing and coaching his brother’s team to officiating with confidence and skill. 🌟

As a referee, Rowan leads with composure and integrity, actively promoting the sport by recruiting nearly ten new referees. He engages with his community through presentations, coaching, and volunteering, ensuring that soccer continues to thrive in his area.
