r adopting a child. And, for those couples looking to “elope and go”, I can assist with that as well. I’m a Wedding Officiant that focuses on small, intimate weddings. Having compassion and empathy is extremely important as a mobile notary because I have also assisted people going through their most difficult times for things like a Will and/or Power of Attorney for end-of-life situations. Being able to ease a tiny bit of their stress during those times is one of the reasons I love what I do. The notary community/profession is constantly changing and evolving, so there are always opportunities to learn and grow both for my business and within myself. I’ve met and learned from some fantastic mentors, as well as, made new friends through the different learning and networking venues. I enjoy getting to learn new skills because it allows me to better serve my clients. I am a former Navy wife and was selected to be the ship's Command Ombudsman while living in Yokosuka, Japan where I assisted both the crew and their families. Now, getting to work with Veterans on their VA loan closings is one of the best parts of my business. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching the Mariners, Seahawks and Trailblazers, and cuddling with my 8 cats.
