The information for New Hope Resource Center (NHRC) regarding homeless veterans, families, single people and teens. This agency serves anyone that is homeless, couch surfing, living in their car, or on the streets.
American Legion Post 67 and auxiliary have teamed up with NHRC by starting a clothing drive, financial donation with Zeffy or arrange to meet at the post to drop off donations.
OPERATION: WARMTH FOR OUR WARRIORS
Puyallup, we have a mission right here in our backyard.
As the PNW winter rain and cold continue, too many of our fellow veterans and community families are sleeping in their vehicles or on the street. They are relying on the New Hope Resource Center for basics, but supplies of dry, warm clothing are critically low.
It is unacceptable that those who stood for us are left out in the cold. R. Vernon Hill Memorial Post 67 is stepping up, and we need our community's help.
We are holding an URGENT drive for NEW clothing items to restore dignity and warmth to those in need.
WHAT IS NEEDED (Men, Women, & Children sizes):
Sweatpants & Sweatshirts (Hoodies/Crews)
Warm Socks (Wool or thermal preferred)
Underwear (All sizes needed)
