Hi, everyone! I’m excited to introduce myself and share a little bit about who I am:
• I originally hail from northern Minnesota but made the move to north Texas a little over two years ago.
• My husband and I have known each other since we were 16, and we just celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary.
• I’m a mom to two amazing boys, ages 11 and 6.
• Parker Renix Proofing is named after my sons' middle names.
• I've been a stay-at-home mom since my second son was born, and now I’m following my passion for reading and proofreading.
• I’ve always been a bookworm, often leaving the local library with a towering stack of books as a kid.
• Whether it’s books, podcasts, or movies, I’m a sucker for true crime, mystery, thrillers, and horror.
• My passion for mysteries started young—around 4th grade—with Mary Higgins Clark as my go-to author.
• I try to approach life with a good sense of humor. I believe that even the hardest moments can be faced with a smile (with some exceptions, of course).
• I’ve always dreamt of getting paid to read, and now I’m making that dream a reality!
