🚨 NOTARY SCAM ALERT 🚨

Notaries, please beware of fake appointment requests currently circulating by email and text.

The scammers may contact you pretending they want to schedule a notary appointment. They specifically ask to send you a Zoom or Google Meet link to “discuss the appointment” or “confirm scheduling.”

But when they send the link, it may download screen-sharing or remote-access software onto your computer.

Once that software is installed, they may be able to view your screen, track what you are doing, and access sensitive information, including bank information, client documents, login credentials, business files, and personal identifying information.

Do not click links.
Do not open attachments.
Do not download files.
Do not accept meeting links from suspicious or unverified requests.
Do not “verify” through anything they send you.

If you clicked something or suspect your device may be affected:

1. Delete the suspicious message, file, or link.
2. Clear your browser cache.
3. Disconnect from Wi-Fi or your network immediately.
4. Restart the device while it is still disconnected from Wi-Fi or internet.
5. Run a full security scan.
6. Restart the device and run another scan before reconnecting.
7. Only reconnect to Wi-Fi or internet after the scan is complete and no threats are found.

Protect your computer. Protect your client information. Protect your notary business.

When in doubt, do not click. Delete it.

🗹 Print documents for mobile signings.
🗹 Download and upload documents to online platforms for online signings.
🗹 Tag documents.
🗹 Send email and text appointment reminders.

Every detail matters.

Every step is meticulous and calculated because preparation prevents confusion, delays, and last-minute appointment changes.

When clients, signers, and hiring parties are notified and prepared, appointments run smoother, documents are handled properly, and everyone knows what to expect before I arrive.

That is how I protect my time.
That is how I serve with excellence.
That is how I balance work and life.

A smooth day does not happen by accident.
It happens because the details were handled before the appointment ever began.

Professional notary work requires more than showing up with a stamp. It requires systems, communication, preparation, and consistency.

That is the standard I choose every day.
