I offer editing and proofreading services for all needs, including websites, academic papers (including dissertations and theses), business contracts, court documentation, communication, and more.

I began editing and proofreading on an informal basis in 2000, and decided to expand my services in 2014.

Documents are edited in Microsoft Word using the Track Changes feature, so you can see the changes made. Additional time can be purchased to discuss changes.

Introduction:

I studied psychology and music at Nebraska Wesleyan University, followed by a Masters in Music Therapy at the University of Kansas. I began editing with my own Master's thesis after being advised to have the nearly final draft edited. After successfully editing my own work, I began to edit academic work up to the doctoral dissertation and professional publication level for others. My primary experience is with APA-style writing, though I have expanded into other areas, including legal documents, resumes, and web pages.

Current pricing:

Proofreading and minor editing is $30 per hour (minimum of 10 pages per hour through usually 12-15 per hour for even high-level writing).
More in-depth editing or table construction is $45 per hour.

As the school year starts, I am available to edit academic work at any time throughout the semester, though I am traveling during both winter holidays this year and may have less consistent access to a work computer.

Have a great semester!
