Our motorcycle es**rt to bring the wreaths into Florida National Cemetery has been a long standing tradition with our rider community and with those anxiously awaiting the arrival of the wreaths, to place for our fallen veterans. The ride began in Lakeland at Saddle Creek Logistics Services and was the vision a dedicated veteran to bring the remembrance wreaths into the cemetery with honor each year. This photo was taken in 2012 as the riders lined up for the route from Lakeland to Bushnell.
The ride has continued through the years with only a few times that it was cancelled due to weather conditions that threatened riders safety. As the years have changed with the growth of the ride and the volunteers who attend our National Wreaths Across America Day event, our team has been challenged each year. Safety has always been our number one concern for the riders and executing the es**rt into the cemetery. It hasn't always been an easy movement with logistics . We took a year off last year to watch how our traffic into the cemetery would shift, so that we could build a better entry of the ride into the cemetery.
The es**rt ride is back this year. We have moved two es**rts into one event. We have a new staging site that is very excited to be working with us in partnership to make this a success.

This ride is for motorcycles only, we are bringing the event back to it's roots.
If you would like to watch the ride, we believe the best place will be inside the cemetery in the Flag Assembly area where we will host our ceremony. The next best place to watch off grounds is the https://www.facebook.com/SumterCountyFarmersMarket If you are local, this is a great place to watch outside of the cemetery. You will need to be early, KSU is at 8:15 so be parked and waiting for them to pass.
The es**rt is set to enter FNC at 8:45 AM, if you want to watch as it enters the cemetery, be inside the cemetery and parked by 8:30 so you can watch.
