2.0 We are firmly against animal cruelty.
3.0 We are believers in a NO KILL shelter system.
4.0 We are advocates against Breed Specific Legislation. We have a very active High School Chapter:

Before we start with our regularly scheduled posts for the week, we want to take a moment to honor this beautiful soul. 🥹

Bluegrass was one of the dogs that was dumped at that property. His senior body left outside to brave the elements and live in isolation for years. Meanwhile he had a fierce advocate in Barbara Monroe and so many others who were so worried for
him and would not give up!

When the long awaited moment of redemption came, Barbara was right there to pick him up and give him the best, most LOVED chapter of his life after him surviving that hellhole and betrayal.

Her videos and photos since he got to her home last week have been so beautiful.. finally home surrounded by so much love. He knew it.

Yesterday, Bluegrass went on ahead to heaven, while sound asleep on his cushy bed, knowing he was absolutely enveloped in his mama’s love. We believe he was waiting for her in order to let go 😢😭

It breaks our hearts that they didn’t get more precious time together, please send Barbara all the love you possibly can. She has been his angel. And now he is hers. ✨

Bluegrass, you are so loved from countless people all over… near and far.

You did so good.

I really like this hotel! Easily five paws! 🐾

Scrambled eggs for breakfast. 🍳
Learning to go on baby walks and smell so many new things with my new Uncle John. 🌳
Sitting and getting the most delicious treats… like all the time! 🍖
A very cushy bed that may be like 1000 thread count. 🛌
And I get to actually be inside… inside like all the time! 🏠
Plus SO many toys! 🦩 🐒 🐑 🏀

My new foster mom understood the assignment.

I haven’t felt this for the longest time.

Every time I think I’m dreaming, I get another hug and …. it’s really real!

Another tragic situation.
37 dogs living outside in exposed makeshift kennels in a rural area of Southern Arizona that gets blustering monsoons, blazing heat and freezing temps in the winter. And to add to the heartbreak and disillusionment of it all, many of these dogs were taken there by a rescue organization under the auspice of of being “adopted” however they were left at that property to basically rot.

Devastatingly many of those dogs did not walk off that property yesterday.. the years of being kept like that took its toll and had broken down many of them beyond what was evaluated as safe or able to be rehabilitated. 💔

But Bob.
Somehow some of these dogs remained resilient, trusting and so incredibly sweet it actually physically hurts your heart.

We wish so much we were a big enough organization to have been able to save so many more yesterday. But we could only responsibly commit to help by taking one. And boy, did we get the most tender-hearted, loving, darling gentleman ever. He is a pure bred lab who the notes at that property had him offering his toy to the Animal Control Officers on the initial visits.
He is a big fan of his stuffies and squeaky toys. While his teeth say he is likely only around 3, his body shows the wear and tear of a life that has been so very hard on him. We will get him back to good.

We have enough wait list apps at this time to determine his perfect match after he takes a moment to decompress and we get some good notes on him but you are always welcome to get an application on our TSP breed wait list for situations just like this.

We have met some pretty special people in the process of helping Bob, the devoted hearts who would not let up knowing those dogs were out there like that. This understandably has been soul-crushing for so many. There are no words.

We want to thank his amazing foster mama Jenni.. great fosters make the world such a better place providing the bridge to a dog’s actual BEST life ever.

Bob fell asleep with his head nestled in his foster mamas hands last night.
Finally safe. Finally fully loved.
Better days are here, brave heart.

Another sweetest TSP Pupdate!
GEORGY GIRL! 💕

Remember this beautiful pug who had been dumped out in the desert far southeast of Tucson? She had an injured eye and her Good Samaritan who found her and saved her out there needed help.

We just so happened to have the most amazing family who had JUST gotten on our waiting list. This family is so incredible, they fell in love with her in an instant and they stepped in IMMEDIATELY to pay for her eye surgery with the amazing team at Eye Care for Animals- she healed beautifully and now is living her absolute BEST life with her brother Fred and amazing parents!! They live between Wisconsin and Arizona so Miss Georgy has become a seasoned traveler.. 🥹🥰 those days of struggling to stay alive in the desert are long gone and we are so grateful to the Fish family, we adore you guys and also thankful for every sweet soul who played a part in her save. Love indeed does change everything! ♥️

We are so happy for you Georgy girl.. you hit a grand slam with the greatest forever love possible!! We love you babydoll!! ♥️

Oh man.. another TSP Bridge Club case.

This is Miki and Lucky.
And their human dad just died.

They are both male, adult boxers. Ages 3 and 6. ♥️
They are very loving and sooo sweet.

They are VERY bonded and must be placed together. ♥️🩵

They are chipped and up to date on vaccines but both babes need to be neutered which will be their adoption fee- paid directly to either our vet or yours.

For a courtesy application, DM us your email address ASAP. We would like to find the BEST forever for them ASAP.

Another TSP PUPDATE!
CHAZ ♥️

Don’t mind this guy just living his best life on the lakefront in Seattle! Not sleepless in Seattle… simply GORGEOUS in Seattle!

If you remember earlier this year, we were asked to help this stunning purebred Shepherd whose human mom and dad were declining rapidly with dementia. Yet another TSP Bridge Club case. One of our incredible families on our GSD wait list in Seattle stepped right in to adopt him. 🥹 and now look at this guy!! ♥️♥️♥️
He is filling in beautifully!!! He looks like Thor now! He’s like the dog version of Chris Hemsworth! And he LOVES his new mom and dad and dog brother so much. Not to mention… he has a dog girlfriend named Gina who he is absolutely in love with 🥰♥️🙌🏻
And a new trainer who specializes in Czech Shepherds.. life is good!

We love you handsome Chaz!! We need to thank Amber S. for making us aware of this guy who needed help, Patty G. for stepping in to foster for us and Alex C. for being the best long distance transporter we’ve ever had. And to Krista and Scott A for being our resident Guardian Angels in countless ways! ♥️✨

God bless you buddy! We are so thankful for the wonderful life and family you have now in Seattle!

Southern Arizona friends, we are on the news this evening at 5pm on KVOA NBC 4 for a follow up story on all of the beautiful animals from the ranch of the murder su***de case we worked earlier this year.. we can’t begin to thank everyone who helped us help these precious souls and for every family who opened their heart and home to adopt them. 🤍✨
