The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry has been auditing many small businesses that utilize independent contractors. If your business does this (or you know of those that do), it is extremely important that your business documents are properly prepared to give you the best chance in an audit. Feel free to contact me to discuss at 267-547-9006.

Due to the Corporate Transparency Act, starting Jan. 1, 2024, all companies which were created in the United States must complete a new form with the Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) unless one of 23 exceptions applies. Most likely, none of those exceptions will apply to your business. The failure to file can cause civil penalties of up to $500 per day and, possibly, prison terms.

If you have any questions or would like me to assist you in registering, please contact me. 267-547-9006.

I am flattered to be nominated as a top attorney in Montgomery County. If you wouldn’t mind, please consider voting. I will need all the help I can get to compete with much larger firms who can simply have all of their attorneys and employees vote for their own firm. Every email address is allowed a vote (which means, if you are so inclined, you can vote more than once if you have multiple addresses). Thank you!

**Voters will receive an immediate automatic email confirmation notification
