When I first started practicing law, an older lawyer told me, no lawyer should ever have limited-tort insurance. I didn't know anything about it then, but now it's clear as day. I recently had an arbitration where the lady was obviously hurt, it was clearly the other driver's fault, and the panel awarded nothing for her pain and suffering all because she was limited-tort. Just a week or two before, a full-tort client settled for $50,000. It can make all the difference. As always, call if you need us, but I hope you never do!

Same issue keeps surfacing. Sat in on a case friday. Minor accident. Plaintiff got $8,000 because he had full-tort insurance. If he had limited tort, he would have gotten nothing. Get it now and you can thank us later! We don't sell insurance, just sharing the info.

Worth repeating: get that "full tort" insurance if you can. It makes a huge difference if you have to sue for your injuries after an accident. Dealt with a case ther other day where the young lady was clearly rear-ended and it was the other driver's fault. Insurance company's lawyer argued she shouldn't get ANYTHING even though she was hurt because she was "limited tort." Ultimately in her case the difference would've doubled her compensation, or cut that in half. We're talking thousands of dollars. Full tort is worth the investment!

Client successs story: victim of a hit & run 3 car collision was knocked unconscious and still can't remember what happened. She called us and ultimately got a $45,000 settlement. We hope you never need us, but call if you do!

When you're hurt in an accident insurance companies are always looking for ways not to pay: limited tort, statute of limitations, preexisting conditions, whatever they can find. #1 have full tort insurance. #2 always see a doctor after an accident to make sure you're ok and document any injuries (minor back pain might be more serious than it seems at first). #3 consult with an injury lawyer (and don't pay anything for the consultation). #4 keep in mind that you can get compensated for your injuries even in a hit and run situation. Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage on your policy doesn't matter until you need it, but you have to have it before you need it in order to make a claim against it. In other words, it matters! Call if you need us. We're happy to help.

Stay safe on the road and if you need us, we're here!

PSA: the statute of limitations for an injury claim in Pennsylvania is 2 years. But, it's better you don't wait until the last minute to reach out to a lawyer. If you think you might have a case, the sooner you reach out the better.

Sat on an arbitration panel for a car accident case today. Full-tort makes all the difference in the world. It raises your premium a bit, but trust me it's worth it!
